Bobby Lynn Lafferty of Richardson, TX passed away September 20, 2012, in Hays,
Kansas, while there on a business trip.  He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille
Lafferty; three sons, Mark Lafferty and daughter-in-law, Rose Lafferty; Christopher
Lafferty and Blake Lafferty; daughter, Stacey Lafferty; six grandsons, Joseph Lafferty,
Nicholas Lafferty, Memphis Lafferty, Ramey Cooper, Eric Cooper, and Jaden
Cooper; brother, Kenneth Lafferty and sister-in-law, Bonnie;  sister, Virginia Lafferty
Mitchell and brother-in-law, Bill Mitchell; and numerous nieces and  nephews.

Visitation was held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2012 at Restland
Memorial Chapel, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX  with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass was at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic
Church, 600 S. Jupiter Rd., Richardson, TX 75081.

Attendees of Bobby’s services who also attended HHS were Joy Coffee Stubblefield
and her sister Alice Coffee Benson.  Duron Stubblefield, Joy’s husband,
accompanied the ladies to Bob’s services.  All currently live near Ft. Worth, TX.
Also attending was Louise Fagan (HHS '55), Bobby’s first wife.

Bobby was a 1953 graduate of HHS after transferring from Springhill. He was in
FFA, 4-H Club, and track.  He later played football  and did some boxing in the
Marines.  Bobby was a rather successful  high school coach in Texas before going
into the clothing business.

Class of HHS 1953 is following Bobby and Lucille’s  grandson Memphis Lafferty’s
life of special needs with a tribute to him on our web page.   Memphis started first
grade this fall, the same year his granddad passed away.
